CAREER ASPIRATION

This seminar explores the difference between having a career versus a job. Knowing the difference is essential in determining who we hire or who we work for.

KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge enhances our career potential. With career aspiration we make this distinction: Knowledge -is knowing what to do, Wisdom -is knowing how to do it, Success -is doing it. Therefore knowledge development is a critical ingredient in the career aspiration formula.

SKILL: After knowledge, Knowing what to do, we will also look at skill development. These are the particular tools or mechanisms that allow a breakthrough of those career barriers. Skill development becomes the actual vehicle that drives us to our career goals.

WILL: This is the fuel of determination. One can have knowledge of what to do and skill in the tools to actually do it but without the will to make necessary changes to achieve excellence our career engine becomes stalled.
